After much consideration and reviewing our out of hours (OOH) service we have decided to make a further change. 

We hoped that reducing the amount of time our staff spend on call, that it would give them time they need to recharge their batteries. After review and discussion, we have found that using the OOH service at Aldgate every other weekend and continuing to care for our inpatients has not made a significant difference to staff workload. 

Therefore, from the Monday 21st August, all of our out of hours emergency cover will be provided by Aldgate Veterinary Practice in Bridlington. Our answerphone message will advise clients to contact the OOH service at Aldgate if their pet requires urgent care. 

All inpatients will remain at the Practice and receive the same high standard of care from our vets and nurses.
